We have added new venues to where we will be covering weddings, looking forward to visiting, Tytherington Spa and Golf Club, Netley Hall, Sugden Gardens, Wroxeter Hotel, Tillington Hall and Ludlow Castle.

The Pheasant, Admaston

The Pheasant at Admaston in Wellington, Shropshire was the scene for our latest adventure. The wedding of Phil and Laura, thank you for making it an enjoyable afternoon.

In May 2017 Memories Photography was hired by Lynne and Harvey to
photography their reception at Soulton Hall, Wem, Shropshire.

The day was very sunny but we found that did not cause any problems with finding suitable places to pose for photographs.

The setting here, at the heart of our farm, and with some lovely old buildings, surrounded by Shropshire countryside is a thing we value very much.

The is a lovely venue to photography with numerous spots to pose the couple.

April 2017 Memories Photography was hired to cover the wedding of Wayne and Cheryl at “The Old Rectory”, Wem, Shropshire.

The Old Rectory

This was a lovely light, and well decorated venue with a large landscaped garden.

From their website,

“The Old Rectory is a real haven of comfort and style, a charming retreat for all seasons and occasions.

We’ve created a special place that people love, where individually styled rooms (everyone has a favourite), home grown and locally sourced produce and friendly and professional staff (if you want our attention) are just part of the Old Rectory experience.

Our handsome Georgian house is located on the edge of the bustling market town of Wem in Shropshire and is set within 3.5 acres of beautiful walled gardens with rolling lawns and stunning photo oportunities. We are small enough to feel warm and homely but big enough to offer modern luxury.

We want our guests to experience the hotel in exactly the way they choose, if you want to stay and relax within our grounds, that’s fine by us, but for guests wanting to explore Shropshire’s special qualities and numerous attractions, the hotel provides the perfect base from which to explore. We’ll just be waiting for you with one of our flavoursome meals or chilled drinks to enjoy on the terrace area during the summer months.

For get-away from it all weekends, informal lunches, dinners, weddings, special occasions or business meeting and conferences, we look forward to seeing you!”

I found photographing in the Bridal suite a real pleasure.

The Bridal Suite

Apart from the location and the venue, Wayne and Cheryl made this one wedding I am glad I was hired for.
